My kids could run around unattended and I felt really comfortable with that. It also had 3 houses so it was perfect for a small group of friends or family. They also had pans, pots, plates, bowls, and all extra kitchen utensils you would need to use. We didn't have to buy anything and that was a plus coming from a different country.

Watch out for changes of elevation between rooms ie steps up or down.
