The newly built structure is beautiful and equipped with every comfort. It is located a few meters from the ocean, on the edge of the city. Very easy to get to.

First of all, the lady at the reception was lovely enough to wait for us until late, as we got stuck in the desert for hours and we couldnt communicate the delay. This was really appreciated and needed as we needed a shower and a bed after our adventure. Thank you Namibian for being so kind The place is like an oasis. Shame we didn't have time to use the pool. The dog is a plus. If you relay on Google map, it can be difficult to find, as many places in Namibia. We arrived there pretty late and so maybe it was difficult to see the needed panel

From the welcome of the host- who is such a sweet man- to the homemade breakfast by his sweet wife- I felt like I was staying at the home of family I had not seen in decades and they made me feel so welcome. What a beautiful oasis behind the gate- the perimeter garden is so lovely leading to every room - the additional outside seating areas were beautiful and sadly I was not there long enough to enjoy it. The rooms were clean, quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was homemade and the extra buffet offerings gave so many additional options. What I loved the most was the Christmas decor- from the crocheted cutlery holders to the nativity scene- it was so warm and inviting! They even have a corner for the kids that is thoughtfully full of books and games. It is also so very close to the beach in a safe neighbourhood so this was also fantastic. Its a home away from home and I was so glad I chose this location to stay in Swakopmund.

Our room was clean and freshly renovated with amazing views. There was no ac in our room, but we did not find this to be an issue at all when we opened the windows and turned on the fan, even during summertime. Christa is an amazing host and really made us feel at home. Would highly recommend doing the nature drive and walks around the property.

Located along the Atlantic coast within a 15 minutes’ walk from Palm Beach, Hansa Hotel Swakopmund features two restaurants, a bar and terrace. It has a garden and offers free WiFi in all areas. We stayed for two night in the Family room. The room was luxurious and spacious. Hansa Hotel is very conveniently located and has this old world charm to it. The entire staff was very welcoming. We had a wonderful and memorable stay.

Located in the centre of Old Swakopmund, The Secret Garden Guesthouse offers simply decorated rooms overlooking the garden. It features a sun terrace. The owner is lovely, helped us find the things to do and informed us a lot about the area. The stay was beautiful, calm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is also amazing. Overall a great stay!
