We especially loved the staff, who were always helpful and explained everything in great detail. Loved the place, and definitely would definitely recommend.

That said, I never found it unbearable, and the upside is you’re only a flight of stairs away from a tasty dinner or an easy breakfast the next morning. Overall, I’d happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, budget-friendly place with great access to The Hague and the bonus of on-site dining—just be prepared for a little weekend buzz.

We are an American and Dutch couple and we stayed seven nights at Pure-Zen. Spartementen is an incredible space with a hot tub, massage chairs and creative lighting in very peaceful location near a lovely park. Jasper was a fabulous host - indeed the finest, friendliest and most responsive we have ever met. We will be returning Rotterdam often, and our choice of stay will always be Spartementen.
