This tiny house close to the harbour in Napier was a cosy place to stay with a friendly and helpful hostess who welcomed us in person despite our late arrival and on our day of departure gave us some great pointers on what to see in the vicinity of Napier (one in particular was indeed amazing, thanks again!). In the house there is (when entering, from left to right): a double bed to the left, a small table with chair and a kitchenette in the middle, the door to the bathroom (with toilet, sink and shower) and finally a closet to the right. It's small but very comfortable. There is free parking in the driveway which was great for us as we were traveling by car.

Good location with easy access to Hastings, Napier or Havelock North. Lawn Cottages is a home away from home. It provides everything you need from (the much needed) AC to the in/outdoor flow making it easy to entertain and also the peace and quiet. The shower is AWESOME! My family LOVES staying here and will always choose Lawn Cottages when available. Can't recommend enough!

Just 2 minutes’ walk from the waterfront, East Pier Hotel features free WiFi, a restaurant and a bar. You can enjoy a cup of tea while admiring the sea views from your private balcony. Our spacious room was on the ground floor with an outside sitting area overlooking an expanse of grass and water. The bed was comfortable and large, The room was well equipped with cutlery, crockery & a microwave. The bathroom & shower were spacious. The room was very quiet as it is surrounded by open grounds. It is between the airport and the main tourist area so you definitely need a car. We returned for a second night at the end of our visit to the Napier region as we had been so satisfied with the room and the tranquility.

I really like the hotel owner , she is kind and very helpful. The hotel bath is super and the room is very spacious plus nice amenity .

A good spot 30 mins away from the hustle of Napier but till close enough to explore the surrounds within a 30 mins drive. We had a wonderful time at TeMata Peak and surrounding wineries. Such a serene place. Janine made us feel so welcomed even from her note a week prior had made us really look forward to being there. The animals were really clean and no smells. Al the pig was really charming. Not our first stay in a place with animals but this is by far the cleanest. Thanks Janine!
