It was very comfortable for my sons as well. Great location as it was close to family and so peaceful. It was well stocked evem though we had taken our own.

This is a perfect little spot in a quiet beach town. Our only complaint is due to a very late ferry, we arrived rather too late to really enjoy it. Sandy was very accommodating with a late check-in, sending clear instructions on how to access the suite at night, and providing prompt communication. We arrived even later than expected at 1 am and we were so grateful to find such a cosy, clean suite. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet outside. We appreciated the breakfast items (croissants, yogurt, cereals, fruits, toast, coffee, tea, milk etc) and the shower was amazing. There are lots of nice touches (games and DVDs in the shelf, extra blankets, lovely shampoo) and there is a cute private patio to enjoy. Free easy parking right outside. And to top it off, it's a short walk to a spectacularly long sandy beach for a morning stroll!

Located opposite Trentham Railway Station, Totara Lodge offers spacious rooms and apartments with easy access by train to Westpac Stadium. Modern, clean looking room. I really like the upper floor. Bed was very comfy. Shower was great, good water pressure and the showerhead was at a good height (at most of my stays elsewhere they are always too low, made for midgets).

Set on a large country estate with sweeping gardens and panoramic views of the Wairarapa wine-growing region, Parehua Resort features an open-air bar and fine dining restaurant. The helpful staff brought us to the vineyard we selected and back to the resort. Accommodation is perfect. Pleasant heat by the fireplace.

The house is in a great location—you can see the square from the road. It was warm and sunny, and the large bedrooms added to a feeling of luxury. It was brilliant that we could accommodate 7 adults and still have room to move. We loved having an open fire and sitting around a big table at breakfast time.
