We stay at the Hotel de Ciudad David every time we visit David. The staff are always extremely friendly and professional, the breakfast is great and my kids love the pool. It is in an extremely central location, easily able to get a taxi if you want to explore further afield.

The room was really clean, the breakfast delicious. We had an early check-in, which was great. Location is a few minutes from bus terminal, city center and supermarket.

Breakfast were tailored according to our nutritional needs and freshly made and we enjoyed it very much every morning. The whole stay offered super value and we highly recommend it. The playa Las Lajas is only 10 minutes drive away and you can have all the tranquility and peace the beautiful endless beach offers.

David is not a place for tourists really, but we were forced to stay due to road closures and unrest.

We travel by motorcycle and we could easily find the place. It's just outside the centre of David. It feels remote but you're actually very nearby the main road. We used Uber taxis to go to the supermarkets/restaurants. The hotel is outstanding. We had a room near the pool. Our room was lovely, nicely decorated and the AC was really nice. There is a big fridge in de common lounge, which you could also get some drinks from. Which was really nice after a long, hot, day of riding! Breakfast was very good. Pascal and his wife are really friendly and helpful and we had some nice conversation! Their dogs are so friendly as well and I loved to pet them. The hotel is very quiet and we enjoyed sitting outside and listening and watching all the birds, squirrels, iguanas, lizards etc. Would definitely recommend to stay of you're going to David!
