It’s right at a beautiful white sand beach with plenty snorkeling opportunities literally three meters away. A 200 meter stroll via the beach takes you to the village with a great restaurant (Métis), supermarket and a relaxed vibe. The owners give you all the privacy you, but are also helpful for instance lending their kayak or snorkeling mask. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with nice airco in the sleeping room and a nice outdoor kitchen and seating area overlooking the blue lagoon.

At the bed and breakfast, the units include bed linen and towels. It was a quiet & secluded spot, yet it was still convenient. It was close to the best snorkeling spot on the island.

You have to be well aware that coming to Huahine means embracing the nature and the local vibe. Franck has been extremely lovely and helpful with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this stay to people who understand and embrace the rustic vibe and that want to have a authentic island experience.

The accommodation offers free shuttle service, full-day security and organising tours for guests. The location right at the water front and close to the waves of the lagoon's edge was simply magical. I could just spend hours sitting on the sand, taking in the ocean's beauty and sounds, and the amazing views of the surrouding mountains and coast - not mentioning the exceptionally cleary night skies. The property is made so that you directly live with the ocean, both from the room and the dining/living area, including a cute seashell and flower decoration in the rooms. Very calm except for the waves (lovely lulaby) and the ocean breeze makes it nicely refreshing (compared to elsewhere), and it is easy to be in your own private space outside. The location on the island is nicely clsoe (8 km) to the main town with shops, restaurants, gas stations, banks, harbor, aiport, etc. while still convenient to explore the south side of Huahine. The owner Flora is feisty and incredibly sweet and generous, ans she is a star when it comes to caring for her guests, doing what she can to help and make their stay special. Scooter or car rental across the street. Overall my 5-night stay there were very resourceful and I was pleasantly surprised.

We had a great stay with Vaiana and her Family. The room was very clean and also had a private bathroom. The shared kitchen was well equipped and all in all the location was great, close to the harbour and supermarket. Vaiana made us feel right at home, their dog loved to get some cuddles. We would recommend it 100%!

Montrose Place Huahine is a recently renovated guest house in Huahine, where guests can make the most of its private beach area and garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy sea views. We had a wonderful stay at Montrose Place. The home was absolutely lovely—comfortable, welcoming, and well set up for a relaxing holiday. The food we purchased from them was delicious and a real highlight of our stay. We also really enjoyed the snorkelling at the nearby beach, and there was a whale and its calf that came right in front of the property, which made the location even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Huahine!

Maroe Bay Lodge is located in Huahine. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The location was excellent, beautiful view across the lagoon. Free parking, host extremely friendly and warm, brought us juice on arrival, with croissants and banana bread and passion fruit and papaya during our stay. Linda also offered a menu of food that we could order in advance for dinner and lunches if we wanted. Were given free access to a pair of kayaks to use during our stay. Fantastic place.

Fare Matahani is a recently renovated holiday home in Huahine, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. This holiday home features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. The holiday home offers a shared lounge. Property is in a very quiet private setting between the airport and the town of Fare. It is an entire fully equipped house with indoor and covered outdoor relaxing spaces. There is a path to walk to the beach for viewing, but the entry is rough and a sandy good snorkeling beach is a short drive towards town next to the canoe club. A car is recommended and our host Antonia provided contacts for local rentals.
