Vale de São Torcato Hotel Rural is situated in Guimarães, 4.3 km from the iconic Guimarães Castle. Rooms 13 and 14 in the roof have gorgeous views and calming white decor. Excellent location, 5 mins walk to everything. Braga is such a pretty, well-preserved town and an Uber or bus ride to the Bom Jesus do Monte church is well worth it!

The location is amazing, beautiful, and peaceful. The view is gorgeous and great for sunsets. Not at all walkable to town or other areas, but great driving access to the beautiful mountains. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I don't speak any Portuguese, but they were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The food in the dining room was wonderful.

Set in Viana do Castelo and facing Lima River, the AP Dona Aninhas is 2 minutes' walking from the city centre. Beautiful hotel located close to all amenities and only a short walk from the train station. The breakfast was great and varied, our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great value for money.

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. The location was perfect, close enough to be part of the action and far enough to get a quiet sleep. The food was excellent and original. Finally the staff was impeccable.
