Al Khor
Located in what once was a picturesque fishing village, Al Sultan is a beach resort resembling a Bedouin fortress. It overlooks it's private beach on the Arabian Gulf and features an outdoor pool.
Rooms and suites at Tio Sea Resort are laid out around the main swimming pool and the waterfront corniche. They are all equipped with satellite TV channels, air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.
I arrived very early at the resort and since my room was not ready I was offered a free upgrade to a suite which was already available. I really thank the receptionist for this as I was really tired and I needed a good rest. The suite was wonderful, very beautifully decorated, comfortable and with a nice view to the sea. The swimming pool was very nice and the breakfast with a big variety of foods to choose from. I also tried the jacuzzi which was very relaxing. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It is very good value for money and I totally recommend it to anyone visit the area of Al Khor.

We like everything. We stayed in Sea View Suite 609 and 611 (the only suites with balcony facing the sea). The hotel area is rather small but has amazingly satisfying facilities. The variety of pastry in the breakfast menu is delicious. The staff are kind and helpful especially the reception staff (I believe they are egyptians). I'm sorry I forgot to ask the names, but I remember one lady who is expecting a child- barokallah fiiha, may Allah grant her safe delivery and healthy baby. Amiin. Surely we are coming back next time!

It is like you are out of Qatar, good food, friendly environment, big swimming pool, with kids pool, what else you can ask for… since i knw this resort, every eid holidays, my family used to booked here, it is superb and you can breath, spacious and you can even relax… beach is near, clean, the most important is they have a very accomodating staff, that matters btw..
