Swimming pool was lovely and had a fish and turtle pond next to it. Good breakfast and the evening meals were great, cooked by a private chef. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Very peaceful surrounded by trees, the waterfall and working farm. Erikson, the owner/ manager, was very responsive and provided information on things to do/ see. Highly recommend staying here but suggest need a high wheel base vehicle due to roads in the area.

Amazing views and delicious local food served in the restaurant. We were also helped to organise a tour with a guide in Obo park starting from Jardim Botanico. All in all, I would surely stay again in Roça Saudade

This recently renovated homestay features a building dating back to 2010, which is 1.7 km from the Lagarto Beach. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Luis was such a GREAT and kind host!! He helped us out a lot. The place is also very nice and clean!
