The room was so clean an spacious and from the balcony you have a stunning view. The staff was so helpful, they help me to arrange the tour boat and even an hiking to go to top view of Ban Rak Thai near the border with Myanmar, but I would not suggest it for old people 😅 P.S. Be ready for a hearty and delicious breakfast

Located in Pai, only 3.5 km from city centre, Tulip Resort Pai features with a garden. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a terrace and a shared lounge. The accommodation provides free WiFi.... One of the best places I’ve stayed in Thailand. Quiet green surrounding, carefully decorated room, and friendly nice host. The location is abit away from the town center so you will probably need a bike, but for me that was a good thing.

Private, romantically rustic, with a nod to MHS’s bygone eras. The staff is attentive…making sure needs are met and serving a sumptuous breakfast with rounds of coffee and tea refills. The property’s manager is friendly and cognizant of guests needs, providing suggestions for day trips around the region and reservations to MHS’s best restaurants. A close friend — a travel writer — recommended the Sang Tong Huts. It is the best property we have ever stayed in nearly a dozen trips to northwestern Thailand.

Our honeymoon at Kanlaya's Eyrie was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived and were warmly greeted by Philippe, Gayle, and their family, we were captivated by the stunning beauty of the house and the breathtaking views. The Master Suite was pure luxury, offering a private jacuzzi pavilion with panoramic vistas. The ambiance of the house was simply enchanting, we enjoyed relaxing on the porch, taking in the serene surroundings. During our stay, we strolled to the river at the end of the property, followed by a fascinating Karen Tribe blessing ritual performed by Gayle's family. The candlelit dinner that evening was a culinary delight, featuring authentic Northern Thai cuisine prepared by Gayle herself. Releasing lanterns into the night sky was a truly magical experience. The next morning, we embarked on a pre-dawn adventure with Philippe and Pen, enjoying a delicious breakfast amidst the stunning mountain scenery. Philippe's deep knowledge of nature and his keen eye for detail allowed us to spot and appreciate numerous remarkable orchids. Pen's presence on the tour was invaluable, as her Thai language skills enabled seamless communication with locals and tribal people at the Koffie plantation. We then explored a remote temple, visited the Arabica Koffie plantation, and wandered through the charming village of Pang Mapha. Without Kanlaya's Eyrie and the personalized tours organized by Philippe, Gayle, and Pen, we would never have discovered this hidden gem of Thailand. This unforgettable experience has solidified our honeymoon as the most memorable part of our 3.5-week trip. We wholeheartedly give Kanlaya's Eyrie a perfect 10 out of 10. We really appreciated the friendlyness and professionnalism of hosts, their knowledges about the local life and nature their passion to share it. We highly recommend to do a trek with them and not just sleep at the Homestay which is also very clean and comfy.
