The staff are warm and welcoming, creating such a friendly vibe that I felt right at home. They even stayed beyond their working hours to share suggestions on locations and touristy areas to visit. The rooms are spotless, and the air conditioning works like a charm, which was a relief after spending the day out in the heat. I made plenty of new friends here, thanks to the great social atmosphere.

Completely remodelled from an old building, 丹迪旅店-天津店 Dandy Hotel - Tianjin Branch provides modern boutique rooms with free Wi-Fi. We recently stayed at The Dandy Hotel in Taipei and we were really impressed! Despite being a 3-star hotel, the service was definitely at a 4-star level. The staff went above and beyond – they even gave us a courtesy call for checkout time without us asking, and were super flexible with storing our bags before and after our stay. The room itself was a pleasant surprise. It was much bigger than what you typically get in Taipei, and spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable and we slept great – it was nice and quiet too. The bathroom was a highlight with amazing shower pressure and lovely lemongrass-scented toiletries. Just a heads up though – the shower is over the bath, which was quite narrow. There's a handrail to help you get in and out, but it might be tricky for older travelers. One thing I loved was being able to open the window for fresh air, though don't expect any views. The location was really convenient, just a short walk to the station. Breakfast was pretty average overall, but they did have some nice cakes. Oh, and if you're looking for last-minute gifts, they have some cute items like soaps and keyrings at reception – really came in handy for me! The only real downside was the breakfast not being anything special, but honestly, everything else made up for it. The fantastic service, clean and comfortable room, and convenient location make this place a gem. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Taipei!

Located in the Songshan Cultural & Creative Park, Eslite Hotel boasts a state-of-the-art fitness centre, spacious banquet halls and luxuriously furnished rooms. Too many things I liked about it! Excellent view with an accessible balcony facing 101 and Taipei Dome, considerate and convenient facilities and quality supplies such as bath salts, electronic drapes which kept the light out totally, friendly and professional staff, plentiful supply of water, pleasant surrounding area, many cafes and restaurants nearby.

The luxurious Shangri-La Far Eastern,Taipei, features spectacular views of Taipei 101 and the city skyline. The offers a rooftop pool, a fitness centre and a spa. Amazing! Splendid hotel with the softest cloud of a bed! Comfort level at its maximum. Bathroom is luxurious. Desk is superb! And the 101 view with the mountains in the background just terrific. Add the rooftop swimming pool! Staff courteous and responsive.

Summer who helped us was incredible!!! She told us where to go, helped us store our luggage early, set up a taxi for 8 to the airport. She was so so helpful! We also loved the location, right next to everything. Fantastic.
