All staff absolutely super friendly and helpful. We were met by Luca who hosted us throughout our stay and we were warmly welcomed into the Emerald Bay family. Luca took us out on the boat (dhow) each day to the amazing pristine white sand banks and turquoise warm sea - totally magical and relaxing. Emerald Bay is truly a genuinely special place, out of the tourist hot spots and absolutely in tune with nature and the location. We loved our stay. Pemba Lodge is an eco-friendly resort offering bungalows made out of recycled boats and natural local materials. Location is simply stunning - and beautifully quiet. Nature at its very best. The lodges were very simple and perfect for the location. We were supremely well looked after by Adam and his team. The food was all local, fresh and beautifully cooked. Pemba Lodge really is one of a kind if you are looking for a simple, natural getaway. A truly amazing place!
