All the female staff are very welcoming, responsive, nice and friendly. I travelled for 34 straight hrs on the road, once I arrived to the Motel, they warmly welcomed me and made me feel like home. They serve delicious breakfast and lunch. The room is clean, very comfortable, and delightful. The bathroom is clean. Even the residents of the Motel are very nice and friendly. I wished I could stay more days, but I had to travel to Entibbe the next day.

We also had the very rare opportunity to share the week with the NGO founders who were visiting from Spain to conduct ongoing business. They are beautiful, humble people who have sacrificed so much for others in needs. They immediately earned our respect. - There are many interesting activities to do around the lodge, all run by locals, in partnership with the lodge (e.g., bird watching on a boat on the lake, vanilla production tour, coffee production tour, visit to the local market, meeting the children in the school, etc.)

All units have a seating area. Towels are offered. Isunga was wildly beautiful. Amazing views and rooms. The food was some of the best we've had in UG. The owners are authentic and friendly, as is the staff. It's easy to find and an easy drive to chimp trekking. Love love this spot.
