This was a wonderful introduction to Hermanus...I couldn't have chosen a better and more friendly place than Backpacker's and consider myself extremely fortunate to have stayed here... The staff were so pleasant and accommodating - including and especially the reception staff who went out of their way - going the 'extra mile' to see to it that guests were comfortable and that all was running smoothly. I found Backpacker's to be so clean and comfortable - and was really quite sad to leave but would stay here again - at a 'moment's notice'... Oh, I must just add - the presence of the dog, I believe her name is Chloe - was so lovely and made the Backpacker's house - a 'home from home' experience...! Room - excellent Cleanliness - exceptional Kitchen - everything that you would need...! Thoroughly enjoyable - and thank you so much...

Beautiful view spotless clean with a wonderful terrace The breakfast was simple but delicious and very tasty coffee The host is wonderful and provided us with excellent recommendations for food and for beautiful gorgeous routes between the mountains I would definitely recommend the accommodation

Till the small details of chocolate on the bed for our arrival, small and big towels, soap, bath soap and hair dryer, everything was amazing...even for the breakfast, the selection was super appreciated. The owner was very welcoming and surely our stay was 10/10
