The staff at il Magan were absolutely fantastic and made this magical place feel even more special. Between the amazing location, an amazing view from the terrace (which was unfortunately being renovated during my stay), delicious breakfast and an incredibly helpful set of staff, my stay couldn’t have gone any better. The beds were incredibly comfortable which made for a great night’s sleep, and made it tempting to lay there instead of going out exploring! When I come back to Corniglia, I’ll have to stay with this hotel again.

I would give this place 1000 stars if I could! My husband and I stayed here for a week on our honeymoon and it was incredible. It is straight out of a romantic movie set in rural Italy, but the city is very close. Just make sure to take a taxi from the city out there. By bus and then foot there is 524 steps (yes we counted) and they are fine going down, but can be a lot when going back from a day of walking. The hosts did tell us though, so that’s on us. We didn’t even know they made their own food until they asked us if we wanted dinner on our arrival day a couple of days before we arrived. But this was the best food we had in the whole trip. Most of the ingredients were grown on their farm, and we got to try some local dishes we would have never heard of. The pool area is nice, calm and clean. They have a fridge stocked with wine, water, drinks and snacks. None of the usual stuff, but again homemade vegetable chips and juices. All of it delicious. The host couple is extremely nice. We didn’t have much contact with the husband, but he made the food, so that alone makes him my best friend. The wife is the de facto hostess and is so sweet and helpful. She will help you find the right bus, tell you about the good restaurants and how best to get around. All while smiling and joking, such a pleasant soul. All in all I can not recommend it enough. Everything about this place is perfect. You will not regret visiting.

The villa is very cozy, with a beautifully maintained green area. It is located in a lush, green setting, surrounded by forest. If you are looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and avoid tourist crowds, this is the perfect spot. The villa has everything you might need, actually, even more than we expected. I want to highlight how incredibly clean it was! This impeccable cleanliness, along with the warm welcome from Giulia and Liliya, the owners, made us feel truly at home. They told us about the area and the surroundings and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Giulia is incredibly knowledgeable, you can ask her anything about the region or Italy in general. She can recommend unique places worth visiting or share helpful tips. Even while staying at the villa, we felt completely at home. Everything was so comfortable, there was nothing to complain about at all. We would love to come back again!

    We loved staying in this agriturismo, the vineyards and lemon trees were beautiful to be amongst. The breakfast was wonderful, plenty of savoury and sweet options, self-serve buffet style. The apartment we stayed in was great - it had a good shower, fridge/freezer & small stove / kitchen area, and was a comfortable size! The restaurant was amazing and they had space for us without us having to book in advance. Beautiful views :)

    Marie was the PERFECT host! We absolutely loved their beautiful farm. Coming back there every evening was the perfect end to our day. The views are stunning, the breakfasts delicious and she was so thoughtful to pack our breakfast for the train on the last day. Having a shuttle available every day is a lifesaver! Thank you so much!

    Beautiful pink villa up on the hill over- looking the ocean of Monterosso. It is a sanctuary away from the crowded beach. A small farm with olive, lemon and vegetable gardens and a glorious swimming pool. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. There is a shuttle to and from town every few hours making it easy to get around. You can get a taxi from the round about to the right of the station exit. It's a 5 minute trip up.
