Very unique, such a special spot. So worth the drive. Attentive host Nic was lovely, chickens greeted us outside in the morning. Think we also had a late night visit on the roof from a resident possum!

    Highlands on Homestead was wonderful. Spotless, excellent shower, really comfy bed, great wifi, about 10 minutes drive to the blue penguin centre ( our reason for visiting Oamaru). The farm animals and garden were so lovely to relax in and explore - can’t beat rural night skies either, so clear! . Breakfast was an added bonus!

    A wonderful scenic peaceful rural oasis with everything we wished for, set in delightful gardens and farm animals just through the fence. Friendly warm reception from Jenny. Highly recommended.
