Loved the accommodation, peacefulness, and location. The accommodation was super clean and tidy. Enjoyed just relaxing and taking in the lovely surroundings. Big shout out to Audry, who made our stay exceptional. Waking up to the horses close by was a really nice touch. Time went too quickly, and I will be booking another break at Krishna Farm Retreat.

Our daughter was starting her university in Gatton QLD and was staying at the campus boarding, so our plan was to stay somewhere close by, so that we could give her an opportunity to spend sometime with us, should she feel her new environment overwhelming, first few days. It turned out to be a great decision as the entire family fell in love with the cottage. We as family loved the quaint, peaceful, rustic country side living yet enjoy the cosy modern comfort which the cottage had to offer. The cottage is in midst of woods (aussies call it a bush), so the place brought all the joys of what the nature in such setup could offer. Waking up to hear the laughing kookabura calls, Eastern Whipbirds peculiar whip-crack songs, sight of wallabies and kangaroos grazing , Possums jumping from the roof to rest in the porch and lastly the friendly farm animals cows and horses. Especially the horse "River" was so cute, every morning when it reaches the cottage doorstep, it would neigh, to make his presence felt, so that it could be treated with sweet offerings and some pats from us. The hosts, Bernadette and Tim were so responsive, very helpful and went out of way to make us feel very comfortable. Really and truly felt we were staying at home. We will return again for sure.

The cottage itself was surrounded by greenery, which was so peaceful. Animal feeding everything morning was the highlight, and fresh eggs were great!

The cicadas are singing, the leaves rustle, and the bush smells lemony fresh and earthy… Endless cups of tea, kettle whistling. Books being read. Sheltering from the summer sun under the awning…curling up in the little nook under the window, watching some raindrops come down. A stroll and sniff through the veggie garden, a dip in the dam. Time for some drawing and painting, endless beach walks, stunning sunsets… It had been years since I stayed in a caravan, and little Ariel delighted in all ways possible. Attention to detail, gorgeously decorated. Warm and inviting, private and serene. The rainwater shower is soft on the skin - bath products supplied! This little place is perfect. No tv, wifi, busy-ness of neighbours…eco conscious, with a brilliantly working composting toilet. You can tell a lot of love has gone in to this vintage caravan, sitting on acreage, in beautiful Agnes Water. It was so appreciated, and no doubt, I will be back again! Fig Tree Farm B&B Highvale-Farmstay near Brisbane! ligger i Highvale med bjergudsigt. Her er en have, en terrasse og grillfaciliteter. Der er også gratis wi-fi. Loved waking up to the smell of fresh air and fresh bread every morning. It was a very comfortable farmstay with nice touches. We traveled with children, and everyone loved interacting with the animals on the farm! Animals were very tame and friendly. The kids were kept busy with many toys that were graciously provided by our host, Lydia. This was probably the best farmstay that our family had so far!
