Additionally if you have a heart for animals we would highly recommend it - all the dogs have a place in our heart even after just two days. The Finca is about a 10‘ jeep ride from filandia itself but it was never a problem to commute. There is a public transport (a jeep that comes by every now and then) that will take you to city center. If you have another area you need to go to (in our case for ex airport) it is no problem to arrange it through the hosts. The dinners at the finca were excellent - all the meals are super fresh with ingredients grom the farm itself or surrounding neighbors. The rooms are completely clean and very peaceful with the nature that is around the finca. We also enjoyed the hammocks that are on the terrace. Overall i can highly recommend staying at this stay!

We asked if it was possible to check in earlier and our request was met. We arrived and were kindly welcomed, the room and the bathroom were both really nice and clean, the view and the garden were special. There is quite a steep hill to arrive on the property, and I want to specify that this was not as a problem at all for my friend and I, but I flag it in case people have accessibility issues. We did not have a car or use transportation that you can find in the town, but I’m sure that cars can arrive up the steep hill.

There is BBQ, kitchen area with utensils and fridge that we were able to use. WIFI works great.

Towels and bed linen are featured in the farm stay. The property offers garden views. Beautiful cabin and in the midst of a garden. The effort to get there from Filandia involved two jeep rides, but we are glad we got off the beaten track. Once at the hotel transportation to town was easy. In addition there were frequent buses to a trailhead which accessed a number of waterfalls. Plus the hosts were very hospitable and shared valuable information. We will return.

The flower garden with views of the Andean foothills is very pleasant and the hammock patio that surrounds the house is a great place to relax. If you want a place to stay that feels like you're welcomed into a nice rural home then this is a great option. There is also a pair of modest outdoor bar/restaurants a short walk away for watching the sunset or looking at the lights of Manizales.

Beautiful landscape, birds and hummingbirds around the place. Jorge and Carolina are true professionals with a huge knowledge and you can ask them anything related to the Coffee traditions.

There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. All rooms come with a patio with garden views. Amazing place to relax and enjoy nature. From the moment you arrive you feel at home. Don Ricardo and Doña Claudia are warm and kind people, making sure you enjoy your time. The place has really friendly and cheerful dogs and other animals. Don Ricardo usually organizes trekkings in the nature with the dogs, really recommended! One of the best places I have ever been.
