When you open the door of the room in the morning you immediately get the breathtaking view on the valley and the mountains while still lying in bed. Unforgettable! The staff is extremely friendly, in the restaurant you eat very well. I could not recommend it more.

Received some great advice on things to do in the area, amongst others playing tennis in Cala Gonone and thei boat tour to the beautiful beaches.

We felt really good at Borgo Rurale Cares - it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nearby beaches. The room was spacious and everything very clean. The pool and outside area are beautiful and the breakfast super delicious.

Offering a children's playground and terrace, Agriturismo Canales is situated in Dorgali, 32 km from Fonni. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The stunning natural surroundings and peaceful atmosphere made for a truly calming stay. The outdoor spaces are beautifully designed, with private terraces to relax. Rooms are clean and functional, though simple. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the cheese and charcuterie board was especially delicious.

What a wonderful experience we had at Agriturismo Su Tiresi. I would highly recommend this place if you want to experience authentic Sardinian culture and food. As well as renting rooms in his family owned farm, Andrea opens his kitchen in the evening for dinner. He is such a lovely person and a fantastic cook. Everything is freshly made and produced on site. For dinner you will get a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, a basket with bread, anti-pasti, 2 meal courses, cheese, fruits, dessert and a digestive drink all for €35 per person. I am a vegetarian and Andrea adapted the food specially for me, any other request and Andrea will do his best to please you. The breakfast is included if you sleep on site and consist of yogurt, home made jams and ricotta cheese with tea or coffee. The rooms are simple but with everything you need, you have a communal fridge that you can use by the reception area and the view from the bedroom is breathtaking. We were so lucky to be able to watch the sunrise over the sea from our little terrace every morning. And the best part for me are the friendly cats. Luna came to greet me every morning and sat on my lap while I was watching the beautiful sunrise. And she would run towards me when we came back in the evening. It’s a beautiful and quiet location, about 10km from the town, perfect if you want to explore the mountains and the beaches in this beautiful area of Sardinia. Please note that you will need a car to explore the surroundings. We will definitely come back here!

Graziella and Andrea are wonderful hosts – kind, welcoming, and very flexible with our needs (they even borrowed us a cool box and served an early breakfast). Breakfast : two kinds of meat, a cheese made from their own goat’s milk, and delicious bread freshly baked by Graziella, along with other savory (cheese) and sweet homemade goodies. Tea and coffee are available every morning, as well as small individual packs of jam. They don’t serve dinner, but if you bring your own food you can it it there. Graziella keeps the rooms clean every day. The location is peaceful, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Our daughter especially loved playing with Alessandra, their friendly dog.
