The owners were exceptional and very supportive and friendly. We enjoyed our conversations with them and to see the metal work around the property. The morning staff was incredible and willing to make our breakfast as we wished. The room was completely outfitted for quick meals or simply resting.

The place is beautiful and there are animals running around for the kids. Every morning we ate very good fresh food for breakfast. I would recommended this place to anyone.

The farm stay features family rooms. Lorena & Francesco are wonderful hosts. They have created an oasis of calm in the countryside close to the coast and Otranto. My room with little garden was very comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight with delicious homemade pastries and good choice of savoury and sweet. I recommend hiring a bike for the day and exploring the coast and pineta. There are excellent restaurants nearby and in Otranto which is a beautiful coastal town. There are wonderful coves, caves and beaches to explore and swim from, in crystal clear water. I highly recommend the Salento area of Puglia and Tenuta Sofia is the ideal base to explore from. Located in Ostuni, in a historic building, 16 km from Costa Merlata, Masseria Ayroldi is a farm stay with a garden and terrace. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The farm stay features an infinity pool with a pool bar, as well as a public bath and luggage storage space. A beautiful masseria surrounded by olive groves, offering peace and authenticity just a short drive from Ostuni. The rooms are a bit austere, but the garden is absolutely wonderful – we loved having our morning coffee right there in front of the house. The pool is small but truly delightful. Breakfast was excellent, with the highlight being the homemade cake freshly baked every morning by the owner herself. In the evening, dinner is carefully prepared and full of flavor, making it a real treat. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to help. A wonderful place to experience the charm of the Puglian countryside.
