A Dreamy Tuscan Villa Stay – Highlight of Our Italian Road Trip This villa was the absolute highlight of our Italian road trip. Nestled among cypress-lined pathways, its entrance alone sets the tone for a serene and picturesque escape. Surrounded by its own vineyard and olive orchards, the property offers breathtaking views and a true taste of Tuscany. The restaurant overlooks the sunset, making every dinner a memorable experience. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are generously sized, adding to the comfort of the stay. One of our favourite features was the pool set amidst olive trees—a peaceful spot to relax, read, and watch the kids play. The pool is open from morning to late evening. I was able to swim quite a few laps as well. With fewer rooms than large resorts, the atmosphere is calm, clean, and never overcrowded. The villa produces its own wine and olive oil, and the staff are incredibly polite and courteous. A special mention goes to Giona, who went above and beyond to make our stay special, especially for my husband’s 40th birthday. The food was outstanding—freshly prepared and full of flavour. The pasta with tomato and aubergine was hands down the best we’ve ever had. For a potato lover like me, the roast potatoes were amazingly seasoned and soooo good. We tried every dessert on the menu, and each one was exceptional. Their house-baked biscotti was a lovely treat too. Breakfast was just right—a mix of sweet items, boiled eggs, cereals, cheese, bread, coffee, and juices. It was perfect for making a quick sandwich and starting the day without needing to venture out early. Our kids especially loved the sweet options! The villa’s location also makes it easy to explore nearby towns like Montepulciano and Siena, which is just about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. This stay was everything we hoped for and more—peaceful, scenic, and full of warmth. We would return in a heartbeat.

This house has a wonderful view, Helen the owner live nearby and she was ver helpful. This place has a restaurant right there and the lady that works there and her mother are very nice. I did not had to cook since we went there to eat breakfast lunch and dinner. Great homemade food.

A truly lovely agriturismo that has recently been beautifully renovated. In a stunning location just a short drive from Pienza. Incredibly lovely silence surrounded us as we relaxed in the beautiful courtyard. Cute cats also came to welcome us. We admired the colors of the sunset in the sky and were grateful that we had booked this particular place. Ana served a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed the beautiful courtyard at the same time. The hostess, Ana, is really friendly and we felt warmly welcomed. One of the most memorable places we have stayed. Absolutely 10 points.😍

The infinity pool is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view over the entire valley. The atmosphere is peaceful and secluded, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything is designed and decorated to the highest, most luxurious standard, giving the hotel a truly elegant feel. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and upscale getaway

Robes, slippers and flip flops provided. The bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend to book in for the spa room, it was a highlight. Simple but tasty breakfast with good variety of selection. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Staff made everything super handy by being available to communicate via WhatsApp. We stayed two nights which wasn’t long enough.

Borgo Villa a Tolli is an old winery that will take you back decades in time. The building has been renovated to make the stay of tourists comfortable, while preserving all the old elements. You go back in time - there is no TV and a bird choir wakes you up every morning. Christina is a wonderful hostess. The room was cleaned every day. The cellar has very good wines, which we highly recommend.
