We felt truly welcome and well taken care of at Casa Franco da Serra. This family-run hotel has a warm, homely atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The owner and her son were incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. We were even invited to a small family gathering over the weekend, and everyone was so warm and friendly! It was such a lovely way to experience real Portuguese hospitality on our first visit to Portugal. The hotel is located a bit outside the town center, so having a car is convenient for getting around. That said, we managed perfectly well using the bus (there’s a stop right in front of the house) and returning by taxi without any issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Terceira who is looking for peace, nature, and a quiet retreat.

The property was extremely clean and inviting. A very comfortable space. The grounds are beautiful. Our hosts were so accommodating and responsive, always asking what we needed, and giving those thoughtful little touches that make your stay that much better. The fireplace was so nice in the evenings. Just a lovely place overall. We also liked that it was situated in the middle of the north coast of the island, so traveling to see things both east and west was easy.

The unit has kitchen with all needed items if you want to cook your own meals. The fridge is stuffed with food - milk, butter, cheese, juice, eggs, all you need for breakfast for first couple of days. Ana and her staff are super welcoming.

It is an amazing place, peaceful, in front of the ocean and with great sunset and great view of Pico. Breakfast is super and Silvia also prepare homemade dinner for the the guests on request. You see the stars and hear the birds singing. Easy to find and to comunicate with the owner. Great experience.

Featuring free bikes, the eco-friendly Herdade do Ananás is located in Ponta Delgada, 2.9 km from Portas da Cidade. Great service from staff, delicious continental breakfast, comfortable and spacious room and parking space included. Only a short drive to Sao Miguel and the big hypermarket. Loved the pineapple farm setting and beautiful lemon, guava, avocado and banana trees. I will definitely stay here again!

The second you enter the place you feel like home. It is spotlessly clean, the bed is extremely comfortable and the room is very cozy. Everyone is extremely helpful and kind and tell you great places to go. Parking on the side of the building is possible or at a parking spot 2 minutes away by foot. The kitchen is super clean and extremely well equipped. There are eggs, fruits, cookies, tea and coffee waiting for every guest. Every room has its own cupboard to store stuff and numbers to mark belongings for the fridge. The garden and Terrasse are so beautiful and the view of the sea and Pico makes every meal special. We would 100% recommend staying there and would definitely come back. Thank you for making our stay on the Azores special!
