The location is perfect (in the middle of the island and close to all services), the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfasts are tasty, and the host is wonderful, always looking out for your needs. I can't think of any better place to stay on the island.

The property was extremely clean and inviting. A very comfortable space. The grounds are beautiful. Our hosts were so accommodating and responsive, always asking what we needed, and giving those thoughtful little touches that make your stay that much better. The fireplace was so nice in the evenings. Just a lovely place overall. We also liked that it was situated in the middle of the north coast of the island, so traveling to see things both east and west was easy.

We loved our stay at Casa Branca and we really felt at home. The rooms and facilities were extremely clean, there were many small touches you'd not expect from a place in this budget (e.g. biscuits, tea and coffee in the room and in the kitchen, plenty of towels, extra pillows). The garden was lovely with plenty of places to sit and lounge, and the rooms were bright and airy (much better than on the photos). The kitchen was well-stocked with a separate fridge, cupboard and utensils for the guests (kitchen shared with the family and even though we cooked quite a lot we always had the kitchen to ourselves). The family hosting us was so lovely and welcoming, it felt like stepping into an aunty's house (but there was no expectation to chat if we didn't feel like it). We learnt a lot about life on the island and the connection between the Azores and Bermuda simply from chatting with the hostess. Would come back and definitely recommend!

Featuring free bikes, the eco-friendly Herdade do Ananás is located in Ponta Delgada, 2.9 km from Portas da Cidade. It was a family facility, super cosy and well decorated with the history of the family.

A truly magnificent view and the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. I also felt very secure.

I liked everything, really. The property is beautiful and so well kept that it feels like you're living in some special TV show that takes place in a horse farm. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the staff is very helpful.
