Denmark Farm Stay ligger 19 km fra Mountain Zebra National Park. Overnatningsstedet har gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. I loved the farm setting. Loved the swing up on the hill. Enjoyed taking photos of the farm life, and especially of the sunset! Loved the use of all the old tools, wagons etc. used for the decor! And enjoyed the friendly chat to Nicolene and Andre.

De Old Drift Guest Farm is a working citrus farm, located outside the small village of Addo and 15 minutes' drive away from Addo Elephant National Park. It offers an outdoor pool and sun terrace. Wow, wow, wow, this stay was everything we expected and even more. The rooms are great, the food is delicious and the service is the best. Would definitely recommend it and if you can, have at least one dinner here. You won’t regret it.

Bushbuck Farm Eco-Retreat ligger i Humansdorp, 22 km fra St Francis Links og 29 km fra Cape Saint Francis Lighthouse, og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi, have med en terrasse og adgang til et... We loved the location, the views were amazing, the hosts were wonderful people (so very welcoming and kind) and their 3 dogs are just beautiful with wonderful temperaments and always up for a good scratch round the ears. Wish we took pictures of our stay but we were just enjoying it too much to remember.

The hosts, Roger and Judy were a delightful couple who went out of their way to be helpful and made sure we had a comfortable and tranquil stay. The cottage was well equipped, quaint and in keeping with a retro farm stay.

Kransplaas - Springbok Cottage ligger ca. 35 km fra Valley of Desolation og har grillfaciliteter, gårdhave og bjergudsigt. Coming from the city with people around you 24/7, this was an oasis of peace. The house was smack bang in the Karoo with the quintessential Karoo bossies growing all around. The only sound was that of nature. The kitchen had the most amazing ground coffee for a perfect start to the day and also a packet of delicious rusks to go with it. There was enough shampoo and lotion that you don’t have to shake the daylights out of the small bottles usually found at places. The wood provided for the braai was perfect! They also provided clean filtered water and bags of ice in the freezer. We did some hiking while we were there and spotted 2 sables, rooibokke, springbokke, a kudu and a lot of gemsbokke. All round just fabulous.

OppiePlaas Country Estate ligger i Haga-Haga og har havudsigt, restaurant, et fælles opholdsområde, bar, have, udendørs pool (der er åben hele året) og terrasse. The place is simply amazing, the cottage has everythung you might need and Erna and Nils are great. You feel very welcome

Hillmoor Stone Cottage ligger i Hillvue med udsigt til en have. Her er gratis cykler, en sæsonåben udendørs swimmingpool og en have. Der er også gratis wi-fi. Very peaceful and relaxing. Got to experience what life would be like on a sheep farm in the freestate. Bedrooms are comfortable and each one has its own bathroom, water pressure in the shower is amazing. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and self-catering is made easy. Freedom to take long walks was also nice bonus to have as he scenery is beautiful. Lots of photography opportunities around the property as well. Our visit was in summer after some rain but I imagine winter would be really enjoyable around the fires with delicious wholesome meals. We would love to return one day.

Lowestoffe Country Lodge - Trout ligger ca. 24 km fra Eco-Shrine og har en have, gårdhave og bjergudsigt. After a particularly busy year hosting family and friends and our children's schedule with their school play, we enjoyed the privacy and not being near town or people for this trip. Having no TV, wifi or reception was actually a bonus. We had plenty time to just 'be' and truly connect and enjoy each other which is exactly what we wanted. The view was beautiful and very peaceful. The garden was lovely to play in. We aren't really fishermen but we enjoyed having a go at the lake. And the fireplace and electric blankets were so enjoyed! It was good to meet Robyn on arrival and the welcome cake was a nice touch. Made even more special since it was actually my birthday weekend. I will advise though to pack some doom for the flies.

If you want to get out of the busy daily grind and just switch off and relax in a stunning place, this is it! You might not see dinosaurs roaming around....but the farm animals and wildlife makes it so worth it. Go get lost on the hiking trails and explore! Thank you!

Sheeprun Farmstay ligger i Maclear i regionen Øst-Kapprovinsen og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis privat parkering. Feriegården tilbyder terrasse. This was such a unique place! The workers were bringing the 1000 sheep back as we drove off the main road back to the place. It was a joy to be on a working farm. So beautiful!!!!! Candace was super helpful. Great place just to hang out.
