The breakfast was excellent, five star service and quality. The hotel is beautiful, definitely different to any previous hotel experience I have ever had and the views amazing. I liked the pool, jacuzzi and spa. The staff was very helpful and attentive and super friendly. The hotel also arranged a pick up from the station and even supplied us with a take away breakfast on the last day, as we had to leave early.

Property was as good as it gets, no complaints. Only thing is that there are no shopping facilities closeby so you need to make sure not to forget anything as it would be a 30 mins return walk to go and buy it. But you cannot blame the property for that.

Everything was perfect. From the welcome drink and cake to the last day of the stay. Everybody at the hotel was really friendly and helpful. The location was great. The view from the hotel terrace was amazing. The breakfast was excellent with a lot to choose from and definitely quality food. The room was spacious with big cupboards, wooden furniture and beautiful materials. The room was always clean and tidy. The village is really beautiful, safe and there is a lot to see and experience nearby.

The staff were friendly, accomodating and really helped make it such a special experience. I proposed to my girlfriend whilst we were staying and they really made extra effort to make it memorable including roses and decoration of the room, advice on champagne etc. They have mutliple restaurants on site and the mountain view is stunning!

Riffelalp is one of the world‘s great hotels. While skiing Zermatt in its own right is exceptional, the hotel adds a visual and emotional dimension. The spa, sauna, hammam, ice, cave, etc. is world class delivering the perfect conclusion to the end of a hard day’s skiing. The restaurants are fabulous, particularly the Walliserkeller, but most of all the hotel is distinguished by its traditional Swiss service. The staff take great pride in their work and nothing is too much trouble. Recommended unreservedly!
