This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It's design is beautiful and has incredible views. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere in the world. The pungle pool King forest room is within the forest or so it feels., with a big balcony overlooking the mountain and the ocean. Lots of wildlife pass or fly by. The bed is super comfortable and the furnishings comfortable and stylish. The pungle pool lovely and hot. Every single member of staff is super attentive, friendly and helpful. From the second we arrived to the second we left. Attention to detail is fantastic, from the welcome drink and cool towel on arrival to the little gift of a wooden animal ornament. At the last minute we also booked and stayed in the Junior suite, which is exquisite, with enormous windows, a downstairs lounge and bedroom upstairs.

The Cloud Forest Lodge - offers the perfect combination between isolating yourself in nature and staying close to all Monteverde´s facilities.

Outstanding location with beautiful terrace and view. But also indoor the open fire provided a great warm feeling and atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and dinner delicious.

The most amazing hotel! Loved everything about it - the fantastic location (those views from the restaurant balcony!), the lovely helpful staff, delicious meals at the restaurant and brewery, beautiful clean rooms, watching humming birds from the hot-tub. So many little touches that made the stay special.

The staff at the place is very kind and warm, they helped us book activities and restaurants in Monteverde, I would like to especially mention Roxana, Marisol and Valeria, the best. The location of the hotel is great, few minutes from all the restaurants and bars. The rooms are very nice and clean, the breakfast is beyond great. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay at Monteverde!

Very clean, friendly staff, close to Monte Verde cloud forest, good food, ATM nearby, hotel staff helped with travel arrangement to zip line, cloud forest and onward journey to Manuel Antonio. The hotel has good restaurant where they made custom menu items for us since we are vegetarians. There is super market right next door where you can buy most daily use items. Since we traveled in La Fortuna before coming here they also helped with quick laundry, dried and folded for a very reasonable price. The people at this hotel embody the “Pura Vida” culture of Costa Rica! Thanks again for the warmth and hospitality. My first instinct when booking hotels in Costa Rica was to go with large name brand hotels but the small mom and pop operators really made it a memorable stay.

Excellent welcome on arrival, checked in early. Excellent views of sunsets. Excellent room with plenty of space inside and out, beautifully kept grounds and access to the forest for walks. Lovely restaurant, pool and really helpful staff.
