Really a boutique hotel, very nice athmosphere, clean and cozy, staff is very nice. I would recommend to stay if you visit San José. We missed the breakfast because of the early flight, but I am sure it would have been amazing, too.

I liked almost everything about this hotel. If you're looking for a full-service, bigger and comfortable place to stay, this is the spot. We stayed here for our last night in San Jose and it was really comfortable after running around Costa Rica. What you expect from a bigger, chain style hotel. I regret not booking here for our first two nights in San Jose at the beginning of our trip. It was a bit more expensive than the Radisson Park that we booked (don't book there), but in retrospect it would have been wise to pay the extra and stay at the Crown Plaza. Plus the Avis office that we rented our car from is there. BTW, our car rental with Avis went fine and was cheaper than Adobe, assuming they release the multiple holds they still have on my card.

Breakfast was ok - but there could have been a much better selection of juices available. There was only x1 per day, I expected more from a 5 star hotel. Also at dinner they made me sit on a shared table which I didn’t want to do because they had closed off an area.
