Lovely quiet neighbourhood. Really comfortably room and bed. The breakfast was absolutely amazing.

The 5-star Marine Hotel is a grand building with views over the Firth of Clyde towards the Isle of Arran, overlooking Royal Troon Golf Course.

Seaview Suite # 202 "Tom Watson Suite" was classic. Beautiful sitting room with a perfect view of the iconic Royal Troon Golf Course and the sea. Very comfortable sectional sofa and a well stocked tea coffee biscuit type set up. The bedroom was also very comfortable, the bed was excellent, in room safe and several USB charging ports in addition to electrical outlets. Bathroom was nice buy a bit small, sink, toilet and walk in shower. Great towels and facecloths toiletries were good but a bit small in quantity for two guests. Breakfast was excellent, made to order plus a continental style buffet. Once again an incredible view from the Rabbit Restaurant while you have your morning coffee.

The location, facilities and warm welcome were amazing. We would recommend appletree cottage to everyone and can't wait to return. We had a lovely surprise with the welcome pack which was full of goodies including wine 🍷we also got to meet the hosts Jim and Diane who are lovely and go out there way to make sure you have wonderful stay.
