The location, facilities and warm welcome were amazing. We would recommend appletree cottage to everyone and can't wait to return. We had a lovely surprise with the welcome pack which was full of goodies including wine 🍷we also got to meet the hosts Jim and Diane who are lovely and go out there way to make sure you have wonderful stay.

Both the bedroom and bathroom were roomy, spotlessly clean, and well appointed. Lots of options for breakfast and it was delicious. Hosts are very welcoming and lovely to chat with. They even greeted us with tea or a glass of wine and home baking! It can't get better than this. We stayed in many B and Bs in 4 weeks in Scotland and this one was outstanding.

    I adored the 1930s styled theme! Next time I drop by I fully intend to spend an afternoon reading in that gorgeous lounge - that is my happy place. The room was luxurious, cosy and everything I could want was already there for me. A few months later and I'm still missing the breakfast spreads they have in Lochinver, they are the stuff of legend. Believe the high rating, this guest house has earned every 5-star review. It is worth every penny. I look forward to my next stay!
