a very lovely village with amazing views all around. We went on hour long walks, extremely dog friendly all around us. We didn't find the cottage at first, but Sue was very kind and helpful! The care package was so sweet, we enjoyed it very much. The cottage was so cosy and inviting. The kitchen was unbelievably well stocked so we could make anything and everything we desired! This was a great value for money in our opinion and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family and we ourselves will come back again :)

I had a wonderful stay! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. My room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. Not to mention the exceptional restaurant (listed in the Michelin Guide, which speaks for itself) and the beautiful Sunday roast I enjoyed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Derbyshire!

The Chapel was warm and cosy, the bed was really comfortable and the wood burner was wonderful! The Christmas tree and lights were a lovely touch as was the wine and Bakewell tart. I so enjoyed my stay and the visit to Chatsworth. Thank you Mary and Stuart, I really hope to be there again.
