Located at the Forum Mall , extremely convenient for shopping and entertainment. The Mall has a wonderful variety of branded and non branded stores including a Lulu supermarket. Prices are very keen as is the selection of retail stores and goods at great quality, great prices . Situated across the banks of the Backwaters, most beautiful views from the rooms . Restaurants are excellent value for money - as is in room dining , flavorful food and menu options . The Property is Beautifully designed with minute attention to artistic as well as functional detail in the rooms - what a pleasure to the eye !!!- and extremely comfortably outfitted , spacious bedrooms with balconies that have the option of protective shade blinds as well as mosquito netting ! Best of all are staff , pleasant, willing and eager to make ur stay a pleasant one, always listening, always willing to go the extra mile . Thank you for a wonderful stay of 3 nights ...wish we had more time to spend at this property.

Absolutely everything!! The hotel is beautiful, perfectly maintained and spotless. The staff, every single person, was so nice and helpful. The location is also great, you are in the centre of Fort Kochi, but at the same time the hotel is quiet and peaceful. Its patio with a swimming pool is an oasis. Also I highly recommend spa treatments. I think it is the best hotel to stay in Kochi, I will surely repeat when I go back.

The room is excellently spacious and newly renovated. The Kingsize Plus bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is spotlessly clean, modern and has a walk in shower. The hotel gives a sophisticated feel with its neo colonial courtyard and roof tower. The emphasis on environment is ever present and must be applauded. Staff is very polite - often as westerners we expect immediate service. Orders may take a bit longer but this is cultural and should be taken as such. Having spent close to 8 weeks in India now, Fragrant Nature Kochi is a start performer. Well done and keep going. The only letdown is Fort Cochin itself. What must have been one day a beautiful, cosy and sophisticated place is now a derelict and dirty place not worth the visit - were it not for Fragrant Nature Hotel. Come here for the views from the Roof Terrace - Fort Cochin is nicer from above than from the street level….

The view from the balcony was outstanding and each evening we saw a pod of dolphins swimming happily, sunsets, daily life & ships passing by. Beds are comfy and bathrooms clean and spacious. Excellent. Tuk tuk driver Sarin was excellent - he showed us around Kochi and very useful guide too.

So I had a bit of a nightmare getting into India first as I applied late for my visa (my fault) 🙃 then had delayed flights and arrived super late (2am) I felt so bad but Rish (the manager) was an absolute legend and went out of his way to make sure I not only got to the hostel safe and sound but got my taxi driver to find some food for me before arriving and getting his friend to let me in! He helped me so much along the way with any questions and has been super friendly. The people I’ve met at the hostel have been absolute gems too we all settled in effortlessly and had such a nice time. The hostel is tucked away on a river which is super relaxing and surrounded by nature. It has a real nice vibe about it I would definitely recommend coming to stay here if you’re visiting Kochi :)
