Our five days at Double Tree Goa was outstanding, it was our best hotel experience during our six week adventure across India. Our room was immaculate and spacious, luxuriously appointed, and with a serene and calming view across the river. The pool was absolutely wonderful. We ate all meals for five days at the restaurant and they were all fabulous - great variety, very tasty, and beautifully presented. On some occasions, food was specially prepared for us. But most importantly, all the staff - absolutely all - were just outstanding. They were so kind, polite, good humoured, and attentive. Sadly, we were both quite unwell while staying at the hotel due to a nasty stomach infection that we both picked up just before we arrived in Goa. We relied heavily on the staff to take care of us for a number of days, including arranging a doctor on Christmas Eve and a visit to hospital on Christmas Day. During this difficult time, we felt like we were genuinely looked after, not just "managed". Staff were incredibly available and patient with us during this stressful time. Above all we felt safe in a foreign land - you cannot put a price on this.

I absolutely adored everything about this property! From the staff to the location, to the food. It was all incredibly well done. The staff were so polite and friendly and helpful. Specifically, Christien in the dining area, who waited on us daily and with a smile. He knew what we liked and made sure we were well cared for. I let several managers know of his care. Austin also went out his way for us, too, and our driver Vinayak, on the first day who received us at the airport (I'm so sorry if I misspelled his name). He even remembered me on our last day and found us to wish us well as we left. The Taj, felt like home. They went above and beyond. Our room was spectacular, the pool was a little slice of heaven and the beach, well its private and there is no need to go anywhere else in Goa once you've seen this incredible and private beach. I loved that we could shuttle between the two properties and use all the facilities. This was a spectacular location. The buffet had so many options that suited all. Everything was impeccable, and the views from every angle also. Wow!! We had breakfast on the terrace daily with a view of the ocean. Dinners were leisurely, and a walk late at night on the beach was so soothing. The yoga terrace was also a nice surprise and a place to just take in the sounds of the ocean. They had car service available for decent price to explore all the sites. It was truly an expirence we will never forget. Thank you, Taj staff!! Truly India's best brand. I will think of this place as one of my dearest memories during my time in Goa. What an expirence!

The staff from the pool side and the restaurant were outstanding. Mr. Solanki was the sweetest. Also the other boys were soooo kind and helpful. The security is also very kind, i jst loved the service there!

Great location, very close to restaurants specially Fisherman's clove in Candolim and great service by the staff. Our Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our spacious room. We booked our stay for multiple nights so we could explore the area and also be conveniently located for a beach. The front office staff were always attentive, courteous and helpful. They even assisted in finding a good car rental service and responded to all queries. My husband and I enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant each day during our stay. Such a friendly, helpful restaurant staff. All told breakfast at the restaurant was an excellent way to start each day and the staff were a big reason why.  Thank you for such a wonderful hospitality ! Will definitely be back..... HIGHLIGHTS: Staff - 10/10 Ambience- 9.5/10 Restaurant- 9/10 Cleanliness- 9/10 Food- 8/10
