Our stay at the Capitolo Riviera Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The location is fantastic—conveniently close to the train station, making it a breeze to explore the stunning Riviera. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. What truly set this hotel apart was the staff. They were incredibly helpful, warm, and went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. A special shoutout to Simone, who was an absolute star! He organized a boat charter for us, which turned out to be the highlight of our trip—swimming in the crystal waters of Portofino and visiting the breathtaking sunken statue of Jesus of the Abyss was an unforgettable experience. The hotel also impressed us with their attention to detail, even ensuring our electric car was fully charged and ready to go. In an area where finding a high-quality hotel with exceptional service can be challenging, Capitolo Riviera is a true standout. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! We had an great time there, even with the bad weather. Rooms are large (at least the one we've had), modern and very well cleaned. It's very well placed, not too far from Portofino, and with a little effort (and a car) even the Cinque Terre can be visited from this base. Both restaurants are very good quality, we've had dinner in both of them. Breakfast is not buffet, so it's difficult to compare it with other 5 star hotels, but it's good enough.
