Absolutely amazing experience. Very near perfect but can't help but give it a ten. The public and private outdoor baths were really enjoyable. Each dining experience especially the dinners were an adventure. Staff were friendly and helped send us to the station as well as pick us up when we arrived. The decor and surroundings really transport you to another world, while still having the modern amenities to make us comfortable. Location is a bit remote but if you like the peace and tranquility that makes it even better.

Situated right beside the busy shopping street, but the Ryokan itself was quiet and relaxing. The food was amazing - well worth the price we paid. We had one of the maisonette rooms, with its own bath, and that was a wonderful experience for us. The staff was amazing, attentive and really hospitable. The stay wasn't cheap, but we would love to come back again. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil and relaxing stay.

It was a wonderful experience way above my expectations, room was clean, spacious and comfortable (i wish i have home like this :D). View from the room was amazing, straight on Yufu mountain relaxing and breathtaking especially when taking morning bath in open air private onsen in the room (there were 3 onsens in room). Dinner and breakfast were very exquisite, it was real ryokan experience for me in a very luxurious environment . Staff was very kind and helpful, it makes you feel like you don't want to leave.

The service by Erica was excellent. She looked after us a group of 6 in 3 rooms. She was cheerful, patience and walked us through everything we needed to know. We all enjoyed staying at this onsen.

The design and beautiful trees facing the room including a plant in the room. The garden where pre dinner is served is beautiful. Details such as bathroom can access to the onsen pool and every details made the stay rejuvenating The amenities in the room are great including the ice cream and sweets . The shower gel etc were great quality and the clothing provided .

Separate Houses having high privacy. Staff is helpful and nice. There are kettle which can keep hot water which not necessary to boil water every time. There are sufficient warmers, and even Kotatsu in the room really helps in winter time.
