Our room was amazing, both the room and hotel are very clean. The room was quiet, our private onsen and garden were beautiful we enjoyed them a lot. There is a cattle in the room with tea and also a coffee maker. The staff was amazing, really friendly, very attentive and helped with all our questions. They reserved restaurants for us and brought us with a car to the restaurants. They also helped with arranging transport for our luggage to the next hotel. There was also a dedicated English speaking staff member. The location of the hotel is also great, it's higher up in Arima, which makes it nice quiet.

Everything exceeded my expectations. Breakfast room service is much better than getting up early to eat at a buffet during set hours. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Arima Onsen is close to Kobe, but has a nice countryside feel about it. Our room was much larger than expected, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the onsen was very good, with the famous Arima golden water (salty and with high iron content). A nice detail in the onsen was that the gender seperating wall was lower at the end, enabling a conversation with my wife. The food was also very good, we stayed 2 nights and had 1 night dinner and breakfast in our room (for an extra charge). The ryokan also offers a free shuttle to the Arima Ropeway and to the railway station. The salon was also nice with free coffee and lots of books and a high-end tube amplifier. The building is wooden and old, so expect to hear some noise from your neighbours, but nothing too bad.

Set in Kobe, 6 km from Mount Rokko, Nature Live Rokko offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a bar and barbecue facilities.

100 metres from Onsen-ji Temple in Kobe, Arimasansoh Goshobessho offers accommodation with access to a hot tub, spa facilities and wellness packages.

One of our favourite hotels from this trip. Very close to the portline station, beautiful big rooms with stunning view, and the breakfast buffet on the 30th floor was magnificent (also with stunning views)

Spacey room with a great view! Bed was really comfortable, bath bigger than in most hotels that I've visited. Breakfast was delicious.

We had an absolutely wonderful two-day stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. They kindly upgraded our room and offered access to the executive lounge at a very reasonable price, which truly enhanced our experience. Our corner room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering breathtaking views of both the ocean and the city—an unforgettable sight, especially during sunrise! The food was fantastic, with a variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. We also enjoyed the executive lounge, which added a touch of luxury to our stay. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We had so much fun and felt very well taken care of. Very convenient location, staff exceptionally helpful, room facilities very good, We advised them that we were vegetarian and they prepared for us twice special delicious meals and one evening searched around to find a recommendation for a vegetarian restaurant which was excellent.
