To be honest this is the only ryokan we visited, BUT service is excellent at every extent, facilities are great, you have free mini bar and all drinks(non alcoholic) in reception area through the day. Onsens are private so you book first on arrival and after with web. Stuff is excellent. Dinner was great and wine list is very good.

For our vacation we wanted to experience a ryokan with hot springs and this place was amazing! The service was impeccable and the in-room dinner was elegant. We also enjoyed exploring the village and taking the gondola up Mt. Rokko.

The location is great, with a very nice view! Quiet and have less people and traffic area so it is a perfect place for getting away from the city but yet not too far away from it.
