The train station is 5 minutes away and well connected so no need to go to Umeda for Kyoto or Nara day trips. Breakfast was plentiful, and free snacks and drinks are available if you stay on Imperial floor. Bed was very comfortable - and it is truly one bed and not two as in many other Japanese hotels, which is much appreciated.
