Wow, this property is AMAZING! It was the highlight of our three weel trip! Totally worth the cost! It's in a prime location within walking distance to many prime places. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating! The restaurant was out of this world- delicious Italian! Paying for thr breakfast is worth it! So many options!!!!

The room was nice and clean. The bedding was exceptional. I loved the hardness of mattress and pillow, and the sheet was so smooth. I slept like a baby for two nights. I enjoyed complementary alcohol and coffee at the lounge on 3F. They had a fire pit and you can enjoy BBQ marshmallows there!

Small luxury hotel for decent price (if making booking far in advance). Our stay was very comfortable, we found almost the best amenities (out of all hotels we stayed in Japan). Breakfast (by selection Japanese or International bento box) is delivered to the room. Very good location - quiet place in older Kyoto side, lots of activities and restaurants are on walking distance. We liked hotel very much and would come.

The location is fantastic! In the heart of Gion and close walking distance to the main temples/ shines / gardens / cute shopping streets and bars. Four Seasons and Six Senses are both in another part and much more commercial and busy - doesn’t feel as authentic as this hotel’s location.
