Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was cozy, everything was clean and comfortable — truly a place where you can relax and enjoy every moment. What made our experience especially memorable were the amazing hosts. The owner was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help. He went above and beyond to fulfill all our requests and personally organized fascinating excursions that added a special charm to our trip. It was clear that he genuinely cared about making our stay perfect, and thanks to his efforts, we felt completely at ease and well taken care of throughout the whole vacation. We would love to come back again and will definitely recommend this place to all our friends and family!

Amazing resort, with wonderful, big, green property next to the amazing beach. Garden is quite spacious, with the open view of the ocean and sunsets. Lounge chaies are spread around the gardens, so you can enjoy the conversations with your fellow guests, or choose the remote corners for the peace and tranquility and enjoying sound of waves on your own, or with your partner. The pool is very large, and never crowded, as this 10-room resort offers plenty of space to make you feel very comfortable. If resort is full, make sure to get the lounge chair early, but if you are not there all the time, you can finnd your stuff moved away by some rude guest. Beach so beautiful, as it breaks the monotony of the long beach with massive boulders right in front of resort. Rooms are very nice, but lower priced rooms are little bit smaller than expected. Nevertheless, the bathroom is wonderful and spacious and both are very well designed. One thing that is missing in those rooms is privacy of the balcony. Breakfast is wonderful starting with the fruit platter, bakery basket and then a-la-carte option, which is second to none, with local and international variety. Dinner menu is not huge, but with well chosen dishes and affordable. Definitely a place to visit again.

Our stay at Ahu Bay was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is breathtaking, set between two bays with panoramic ocean views that create the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and immaculately maintained, blending comfort with understated luxury. Dining at Ahu Bay was a highlight of the entire experience. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding — fresh, carefully prepared, and always cooked to perfection. The menu offers a thoughtful mix of local flavours and international favourites, each dish presented with genuine care and creativity. Every meal felt memorable. What truly sets Ahu Bay apart, however, is the quality of its staff. From the front desk to the restaurant and beyond, every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay feel special. Their professionalism and hospitality elevated the experience far beyond expectation. The Property is beautiful and nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. It's quiet and secluded so if you want to unplug it's good for that. The staff were amazing helpful and always available. It's wonderful for a special occasion with your family. We spent my daughters 21st there and staff were amazing at making a special experience. Chef was fantatsic, the menu had a good selection of food, breakfast was especially good. Staff were available with a minibus to take us where ever we needed to go, so that made getting around really easy. Overall very enjoyable.

This is one of the best places in Sri Lanka. Big nice villa with all required conditions to stay with family : air conditioners, swimming pool, perfect service of the stuff, very nice traditional breakfast and dinner. Food is very delicious and we had a fantastic breakfast .Before preparing our food chef Shyamal talked to us and made everything according to our needs . It was a comfortable stay with a nice swimming pool.like to visit again.

    The most beautiful location, quiet, almost private beach, amazing design, comfortable rooms, nice food and of course, exceptional service, tailored and we really felt cared for. We traveled with our 2 year old that enjoyed the pool and the beach. I also was able to enjoy an amazing full body massage in the beach in the morning.

    This hotel is heavenly. It is right on the most perfect beach and surrounded by trees and the occasional wild life. The rooms are large, luxurious and have large private gardens. The staff are well trained with the aim of providing a perfect holiday experience. This was the last of six hotels that we stayed at across Sri Lanka and was by far the best. The chef produced exceptional dishes and reasonably priced. We felt very cared for at Sundara. Thank you.

    Very kind owner who does his best to ensure clients satisfaction. If you love art, you should speak to him about it ! He is a passionate collector. The hotel is very clean and spacious. Breakfast could be a little bit better for a 5 star hotel, but still it was delicious. The pool was clean. The very best thing about this hotel is the view you get from your room. Amazing 🤩...
