We had a lovely stay at Orchid Villa. The room was clean and spacious and the location is just few hundred meters from the beach. The owner is a very warm and kind person always happy to help with anything. We also had some great conversation at his garden patio. We would definitely recommend this place. Great value for money!

The location being right on the beach was the highlight of this spot for us, being able to walk along the beach first thing in the morning and watch sunrise and sunset each day. Food was incredible too. And the staff were incredibely friendly and warm.

Ziba Luxury Villa is fairytale. Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Such a great location, close to Tangalle. Big, green property that makes you feel relaxed. You can always find a nice spot to enjoy the shade in hot day, listening sooting sound of waves. Lounge area being one of them. Beautiful pool and vicinity of the beach gives you the choice to enjoy your swim. Room was spacious and inviting, with the big and comfortable bed and nice terrace to enter the garden. A la carte breakfast was amazing, with variety of local and international choices. Compliments to the chef. We had the issue with our shower, but Oshan and his team sorted it out immediately. The only thing we regret is not staying here longer, due to our previously arranged plans, but we are looking forward to our next trip to Sri Lanka and enjoy Taru villas once again.

The service at this hotel was absolutely exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering a level of comfort that far exceeded our expectations. The room and the hotel were outstanding, blending a charming colonial vibe with beautifully designed interiors. The lush garden, infinite pool, and direct access to the ocean added an extra layer of luxury to the experience. Everything was spotless, with our room cleaned twice daily, and the addition of aroma candles not only kept insects away but also enhanced the atmosphere. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the city and the main beach, with other beaches and activities easily accessible by a quick Tuk Tuk ride. The breakfast was delicious, but what stood out most were the refreshing drinks, including fresh juices and smoothies, which we thoroughly enjoyed during our stay.

We loved D’art Villa- it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the local beaches in Tangalle after a busy few weeks exploring other areas of Sri Lanka. The room was clean, comfortable and quirky. The staff restock water and tea/coffee as needed each day. They will also clean the room and replace towels if needed. Breakfast was so lovely and we took advantage of a cooked evening meal by the onsite cook, which was perfect! We felt like we had such a special time throughout, and the whole team were on hand to help, assist, advise and chat. Such a friendly, welcoming and warm welcome and stay throughout. The pool is also beautiful, as is the whole villa, there are many different seating areas and the relaxing music playing quietly throughout the day creates the perfect atmosphere. The staff are amazing! I struggled with WiFi for work as the Villa is a little further back from the beach (10 min drive). When I mentioned this to George, he & Suresh arranged and installed a booster for the room within a couple of hours and it worked perfectly! Tangalle is a short tuktuk drive away, but the guys at the villa will ring and sort this for you as and when needed. The staff team are all amazing, and you were all definitely the cherry on top of our stay- you made our stay a beautiful one. Thank you once again- we hope to return in the future!
