We arrived to the W15 Ambulawawa on our first day of our Sri Lankan adventure. After a long day of driving we arrived in the afternoon to paradise. Greeted warmly by the kind Achini and Amila our stay began perfectly with a dip in the stunning infinity pool. Sunset can be viewed from the special sunset deck the perfect place to unwind and chill - simply spectacular. Every care was given to us by Yapa who catered to our every need. Dinner and breakfast were delicious thank you Sanjiwa and Yapa. We walked to the Ambulawawa tower from there, a steep short climb - perfect before the big breakfast we were served. Can't wait to reccomend to our friends To be honest, we would rate 11 but it's not an option.

What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. Simply amazing place. from the way we were greeted and treated throughout our stay to impeccable garden and stunning views from the pool. This place really deserves to be 5 star hotel. hotels historical touch is a real bonus, and staff were professional, helpful and chatty when needed yet not too bothering when we were just enjoying ourselves. our butler Sagar (Sajar) was excellent, it was pleasure to chat with him, he arranged everything we needed. chef prepared our meals to our taste and was willing to make any changes to tailor the meals according to our kids dietary requirements. even offered us meals that aren’t on the menu. when they heard that we enjoyed dosa in Kandy, our butler arranged with chef to cook it specifically for us. we stayed in hotel much more than we were planning to. also we were positively surprised by food menu price policy, it was definitely perfect value comparing with other places during our six weeks in Sri Lanka.

Exceptional service, staff and location. The food is exceptional .. Indika and his team are master chefs! The property is beautiful and well maintained surrounded by amazing wildlife with some of the best views in Kandy. The place is also a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Kandy town but not too far away from anything. The staff are all amazing and went out of their way to help us which made us feel like staying with family ….we can’t wait to return again and stay at this magical place. Thanks to Joel and his team we miss you already!
