We had an exceptional stay at Uga Riva. This hotel is top quality; a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms, quality linnen, great bathrooms, fabulous food… We arrived drenched from the rain and the staff immediately made us feel comfortable with hot tea and towels. They were extremely helpful and kind, and really helped bring the quality of our stay to the next level. A special thank you goes to Lahiru, Kumara, Yasith and Upul: they deserve a raise!

This is an oasis in Negombo. We had the Elephant suite. It has views of the river and it has its own pool. The rooms are spacious , the bathroom is lovely. Staff are so nice. We did the river boat trip ( Extra cost , but worth it), and saw kingfishers. An owl and bat island. Breakfast and dinner were both really good. Great place to either start or end your trip to Sri Lanka. Highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sentido Heritance Negombo, and I must say it was a memorable experience from start to finish. Located just a short drive from Colombo’s international airport, the hotel is ideally positioned right on the golden sands of Negombo beach. Check-in & First Impressions: The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff were professional, courteous, and efficient. The lobby area is beautifully designed with a refreshing coastal aesthetic and open spaces that immediately give you a sense of calm. Room & Comfort: My room offered a stunning view of the Indian Ocean, with a private balcony to enjoy the sunset. The room was spacious, clean, and well-furnished with all modern amenities including a comfortable bed, smart TV, minibar, and luxurious bathroom. Housekeeping was consistently excellent throughout the stay. Dining Experience: The hotel’s restaurants offered a great variety of both Sri Lankan and international cuisine. The buffet breakfast was a highlight — fresh tropical fruits, traditional hoppers, and an impressive selection of Western and Asian dishes. I particularly enjoyed dining by the pool in the evenings; the seafood options were fresh and delicious. Facilities & Ambience: The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is the star of the property — perfect for relaxing under the sun. The spa services were also exceptional, offering a range of traditional Ayurvedic treatments and massages. The fitness center was well-equipped for a hotel gym. Service & Hospitality: The staff went above and beyond to ensure comfort. Whether it was room service, concierge, or restaurant staff, everyone was attentive, respectful, and genuinely hospitable — a true reflection of Sri Lankan warmth. I recently stayed at Tamarind Tree Garden Resort and had a fantastic experience. Despite arriving late at night due to a delayed flight, the check-in process was incredibly smooth and the staff were extremely helpful. The resort is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the airport, which was a huge plus. My room was very spacious and comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. In the morning, I enjoyed a lovely breakfast buffet that offered a wide variety of delicious options. Afterwards, I took a refreshing dip in the pool, which is beautifully surrounded by lush greenery. My stay was excellent and I highly recommend this resort.
