A beautiful propery, managed by professional staff. Personal attention to clients. We overslept and missed breakfast time. Breakfast was cooked and kept for us. The room and facilities where excellent. Food was delicious and the Chef was brilliant!!

We stayed for two nights! It's a small chique boutique hotel right in front Gregory Lake. They only have a few rooms which made the stay very unique. Rooms a huge and beds are spacious. They bring you a hot water bottle before nighttime which was really cozy. The staff was very lovely and forthcoming without being indiscreet or intrusive! They arranged a driver to bring us to Horton Plains at 5 am and provided us with a Picknick to go which was just perfect! They even went beyond and above and served us tea beforehand. They don't do buffets just menu a la carte en demand and they use a lot of vegetables from their own garden, which we found very environmentally friendly. Bathrooms were the best in Sri Lanka, hot water from a solar system, very clean (European standard clean). They have a selection of loose teas you can brew in your room which was very unique. Perfect pick for a stay in Nuwara Eliya!

What an amazing experience!!! This is a wonderful place that takes you back in time. The garden, the good and mostly the people working there are amazing! We stayed 2 days but wish we could have stayed longer. This place is idéal for totally disconect and enjoy the wonderful nature that is all around.     Everything about the villa was amazing. From the luxurious interior to the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, dam and tea plantations, our experience here was wonderful and a much needed getaway in an extremely calm and serene place. We were hosted by the very warm and cheerful Akila and served delicious meals prepared by the talented in-house chef.

    La Grande Villa is a must to do if you are coming at NUWARA ELIYA. You can feel the luxury England atmosphere everywhere. The room is fabulous, the food is delicious and all the staff was so caring, so helpful and so nice. You can count on the receptionist Farhan if you need anything, count on the chef if you want to eat Sri Lankan, Indian or English food and count on the staff to makes you feel like a VIP guest. Thanks to all of you for this unforgettable stay. I warmly recommend that place.
