Resort which could be anywhere and be rated 10. Rooms were clean and big, we had room on second floor with view of their garden. Styling through all resort areas is really good with small ponds lots of trees and really clean pool. You can reach pidurangala with car in 15minutes. Location is great. You must try their restourant, bear in mind portions are huge. Seafood platter was perfetcly cooked, delicious and enough for two ppl. But we also ordered asian beef curry, also must try but not on the same day - too much food :D Ask to make it less spicy and enjoy fresh food from their garden. On every day different sri lankak breakfast - soup, fruits, main dish. Also you can ask for sousages, ham, omlete, scrambled eggs. Once again a lot of food and its good!

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful and extremely peaceful. It is a bit outside the main town, which makes it a perfect place to stay if you want to be immersed in nature and more secluded from the crowds. It is a pretty short drive to Sigyria and Pidurangala Rock. The rooms are large, beautiful, very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and all the food was excellent. There is a lovely observation deck where you can watch the sunrise, play cards and relax with a cup of tea. There is a beautiful view of both Sigyria and Pidurangala Rock from the observation deck, and this was a highlight for us. Everyone working at the hotel is very kind and wants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend - we would definitely stay here again!

Anil has been a fantastic host. He's very welcoming, funny, helpful and generous. He drove us to all places and cooked us with his wife delicious dinners at unbeatable prices. The breakfasts were also amazing. His place is nice and quiet, well located and the swimming is a great addition. Definitely recommended for a great experience in Sigiriya

Excellent stay at the wild Elephant resort - would highly recommend. In a really good location, very comfortable accommodation with great AC and no mosquitos and really yummy breakfast. Staff are brilliant . We see the elephant infront of the hotel a night time. and would highly recommend it was a brilliant trip and we had one of a kind close encounters with these beauties. Would happily stay again and for the price, our stay was extremely affordable. Thanks Again,

    A beautiful hotel with superb views of Sigirya Rock. The hotel employees, in particular Tharashi at reception and Lal the room boy, are highly recommended for their hospitality. Breakfast is plentiful with choice of European and local food. Cleaniness excellent. Hotel decor very pleasing to the eye. 5 star service in this highly recommended hotel. Ideally located to visit all the sites in the area including Sigiriya Rock, Minneriya National Park and the ancient ruins at Sigiriya among so many other things to see.
