Absolutely charming boutique hotel, ideal for a family or a couple vacation! It’s located on a private beach with soft waves, so we could swim easily with my small kid. The pool is stunning. The food and cocktails are lovely! Special thanks to Zander, the owner, for his personal attention to all guests and control and care of all details during our stay. And Loki dog is our big love. Thank you for our amazing stay! We’ll definitely come back again.

Absolutely Everything - the most amazing place with the most incredible staff. Kamal and his team are absolutely fantastic and we couldn't recommend this place highly enough - easily the best place we have ever stayed driven hugely by the fantastic staff! We went to Kayaam House for part of our honeymoon to Sri Lanka. It was perfect! So gorgeous and serene. You're right on the beach - the beach is peaceful - there is no one on it and it stretches as far as you can see. When we were there, the waves were too big to swim but walking along the beach was still lovely. The pool is gorgeous! Perfect temperature and big. Loved it! The rooms are clean and fresh. Great having the smart TV too. Our room was facing the beach so we could hear the waves at night (sometimes they break quite loudly!) - so it was helpful that they supplied complimentary ear plugs. The food is great! And the staff are wonderful. They also host meditation and yoga classes in their outdoor hut by the pool every day - we did this and it was such a lovely way to start the day.

I almost don't want to share my review of The Last House because I want it to be my own little secret paradise! But of course, its fair to share. This is one of the most incredible hotels I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in some pretty cool places. Of course the Geoffrey Bawa factor is cool, but the fact that the house manages to strike that perfect balance between luxury, yet so accessibly and comfortable. Nothing felt contrived or overdone, the house fit the surroundings perfectly, yet you felt like you were living in luxury. The incredibly beautiful and completely deserted beach is steps, STEPS, from the hotel. Every day we were there it was less than 5 people on the whole beach. Some of the best meals we had on our whole trip was at the Last House, the breakfast especially is incredible. And the service was impeccable. Nothing was too much, and they were super flexible with us on check in and check out time. Despite the fact that this place is a 12 hour flight from my home, I have no doubt in my mind that I will be back to this hotel. 11/10!

I and my family spent five nights at Taru Villas, the first two at the Pool House and the remaining three nights at Kurumba House where were upgraded thanks to the kindness of the manager Gihan. Gihan was very attentive, supportive, always professional. Nothing was impossible for him! The stay at the villas exceeded our expectations. Everything was great. The properties were spotless and super comfortable. The food was amazing, fresh juices so tasty! We were being looked after by Ruwan, his service was amazing. He was always there and available but at the same time his presence was very discreet. We would love to come back to the Villas. Thank you all for making our holiday truly special!
