Our recent 5-night stay at The Danna Langkawi was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a world of elegance and exceptional service that truly sets this hotel apart as one of the best in the world. The design and decoration of The Danna are absolutely stunning, with an elegant blend of colonial charm and modern luxury. Every detail, from the grand lobby to the meticulously designed rooms, exudes sophistication and comfort. The ambiance throughout the hotel is both relaxing and invigorating, making every moment spent here a joy. The staff at The Danna Langkawi deserve special mention for their outstanding service. They were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring that our stay was perfect. Their hospitality made us feel welcome and valued from start to finish. Each day was filled with delightful experiences, whether we were lounging by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoying the exquisite cuisine at the hotel's restaurants, or simply relaxing in our well-appointed room. The serene beach and lush surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for a truly unforgettable vacation. In summary, our stay at The Danna Langkawi was perfect. The impeccable service, stunning design, and overall vibe of the hotel exceeded all our expectations. This is undoubtedly one of the best hotels we have been to. Highly recommended!

The hotel is superb, great facilities and great staff. People are all very friendly and attentive. The check in procedure is great and easy. The staff explain very everything in detail, the breakfast, the facilities in the hotel and the room. Everyone is proactively to offer help and advice during our stay. The staff in the Langkawi Kitchen is great. Everyday, we have got recommended with their food and drink, don't miss that if you are staying in this hotel. The manager at the Langkawi Kitchen is very sharp and detail minded. He pays attention to every customer in the hotel and he can remember that I have coffee every morning. The yoga trainer proactively invited to the free yoga class. The staff did tell us a lot about Langkawi. The buggy service is great. The room is designed thoughtfully and we like every detail in the room. It's well furnished. The bed is great and comfy. The view is absolutely stunning with great sea view and forest. You can see different species of animals at the balcony which makes you feel that you are a part of the nature. Other than the Langkawi Kitchen, we had our dinner at the Horizon Bar. Great location for dinner with the infinity pool. You can see the most beautiful sunset in there. Drinks and food are nice, even though it's bit pricey. But it's a great experience spending time there. End up, we spent more time in the hotel as you have a lot to explore. The facilities in the hotel are all great, the beach, the gym room.

The beach was amazing. The water was warm (29°C) and the beach is white sand (no pebbles or stones). The entrance to the sea was flat, the depth of the water goes to neck up to fourty meters from the beach (varies depending on whether it's high tide or low tide). The location is 20 min from airport on car and 10 min walk from Oriental Village and the Sky Cable / Sky Bridge, etc. We also tried the Taaras Spa (one scrub program, one foot relaxology massage and one 90 min Taaras massage). The three of us went happy out. Amenities are great. At breakfast there are multiple open kitchen stations (several egg stations preparing fried eggs or omelets, pancakes station, and separate Roti station). At every station one can choose ingredients for his/her food to be prepared of. Those guys work from 7 a.m. till 10 a.m. under 38°C every morning! The juices are a separate pleasure. They also offer fresh juices in the Beach Brasserie, milkshakes in Dayong Cafe & Beach Brasserie, and mocktails. Look for Temperance Drinks (section without photos) in the Beach Brasserie menu, and try Funky Monkey there. It's amazing! Also thanks for keeping up the great work with nature preservation (we saw each tree numbered), and with the whole ecocare approach. Special thanks to the Vallet Team, Great friendly overworking team (24 hrs), the Room Service Team and especially the Sports & Recreational Team! The Vallet / Shuttle Team also offers a free shuttle each 2 hrs to Orinetal Village / Sky Cable from hotel. And the Sports & Recreational Team beyond usual water activities offer Bird Watching Tour (on the hotel territory, which flora & fauna is rich), they also provide tour from hotel to the Kilim Geoforest Park with options: group (day or night) & private, diving & fishing, island hopping, jungle walking & zipline, and so on. Don't pass by their table opposite to Registration counter, where the Spa table is also located.

It has been an amazing staying at Parkroyal Langawi Resort! The hotel is high class, beachfront, very close to the popular Cenang beach and the staff is very helpful, friendly, smiley with positive energy! Highly recommend it and if we come back to Langawi we will definitely choose it again.

If heaven on earth exists, then it is the Datai Hotel. Everything in this hotel is aimed at making you relax. Free electric buggy from the lobby to the beach and back. Room with a balcony. On the balcony you can enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the forest. The room is very spacious and cozy. Not just cozy but chic. Robes and flip-flops are a whole separate story. And the bathroom itself with bath accessories, with bath salt and handmade soap. In general, emotions are off the charts. Fruits in the room. Every evening a sweet compliment from the chef. Minibar is included in the price. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel staff does everything so that you do not think about anything but just relax. A huge sandy beach with the cleanest sea water. All the sun loungers on the beach are in the shade of the trees, there is no need to move the umbrella all the time. Also on the beach you can take a kayak and swim to the nearest small island. Also on the beach they periodically give out compliments from the hotel in the form of ice cream and fruit. The food in the Malaysian and Indian cuisine restaurant is very tasty. My wife and I ordered two main courses and a salad and ate too much. You can also have a good dinner in the restaurant in the hotel lobby. This was the first hotel in my life from which I did not want to leave the city in the evening or even leave it at all. The hotel is located right inside the forest. Toucans fly around you and wild monkeys jump on the branches. We took a room with a view of the forest and were not disappointed. From a room with a sea view you also look at the pool. For example, I do not really like looking at the pool. Special thanks to the hotel for the fact that after booking the room they told us that we need to fill out the MDAC form. This form allows you to quickly pass passport control through the SART gate without the participation of a border service employee.

The view from the Junior Suite was absolutely stunning, and the food was incredibly delicious!
