The staff, especially Mr James were excellent. We were first given a room above the reception that we found loud (the usual problem in the Philippines is poor front door sound insulation). Upon bringing that complaint to the staff, they went beyond our expectations to accommodate our needs. We were positively surprised and had such a great experience that we decided to extend our stay. We ordered breakfast once and it was brought to our room which was really nice. We loved the trip to Nacpan beach and enjoyed free sunbeds at their sister hotel. The hotel provides free shuttle to the city and to the airport.

It was our first stay of our 2 week holiday in the Philippines in mid-November and it exceeded our expectations. The views were so beautiful, the resort is tranquil, and the location was on an island. I'd say it is perfect for a 2-3 night stay, as it is the only resort on the island. You will have enough time to use all facilities, snorkel, and head to the spa - we had the best massages here! Our room was very spacious and had a convenient layout. It was equipped with an outdoor shower also. Make sure to ask about the sunrise hike. A guide takes you up one of the mountains an hour before sunrise, and you will have the opportunity to sit at one of the highest points and wait for the sun to rise—magical and breathtaking! Food was good, they have a decent variety of international food to suit many. Cocktails are also good. A bit on the high side, but worth the whole experience. Highly recommended.

Amazing place with amazing staff, everyone was so kind and helping, we enjoyed our stay so much and was very sad to leave, I really want to give a huge thanks to the two bartenders Gamie and Dave, two amazing and helping guys that makes awesome cocktails and coffee, we really appreciate them!

Everything about this hotel is excellent! We spent our anniversary here and we were not disappointed. You get VIP treatment from the moment you step in El Nido, from their free airport transfer, warm welcome and very accomodating butlers. The hotel is aptly named because you feel like you're in a secret place where there is privacy and surrounded by nature. I also enjoyed every food I had from their restaurant. Kudos to the kitchen staff and chef! I was hesitant to book here at first because there were only a few reviews, but I found out later on that the resort was fairly new.
