What a lovely hotel , very quite room ( we was on floor three ) , a view out of the front to the sparkling lights on the lawn and the old gas lit lamps , beautiful.

From the moment we entered the lobby was everything just perfect. The Receptionist showed us on a map his favorite Cafés and places to visit, he was super friendly but professional. The weekend in Hotel Monopol was a birthday surprise for my bf and there was a little present in the room for him, we've got a little surprises on our bed every evening, it was just so friendly! The absolute Highlight was the whirpool bathtub. Ah, and they use L'occitane products, which made us even more comfortable because we love the label. We are already trying to squeeze a free weekend to our work schedules because we are definitely coming back. Oh and the cocktails in hotel bar are top!!!

The receptionist greets you with genuine warmth — not the rehearsed kind — and it’s immediately clear they’ve done their homework. My request for a quiet room and a double bed had already been anticipated and arranged. It’s the small gestures that make a world of difference, and here, staff intuition feels like second nature. Upstairs, the room continued the theme of refined simplicity. Clean lines, muted tones, and a beautifully laid parquet-style floor create a sense of calm sophistication. The absence of carpet feels both modern and practical — fresh air, clean surfaces, and an unmistakable sense of quality underfoot. It’s comfort without clutter, luxury without pretense. As evening settled, I wandered down to the bar — a softly lit haven of polished wood, quiet music, and confident service. The bartender, equal parts charm and professionalism, served a divine cheese platter — more curated than casual — followed by a slice of apple cake that, while slightly cool, was nonetheless delightful. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself lingering just a little longer than planned. But the true highlight came with morning. Breakfast at Hotel Cyrus is a celebration in itself — abundant yet refined. Freshly baked breads, delicate pastries, ripe fruit, and an impressive selection of local specialties. Breakfest is perfect, very clean rooms, quiet and calm hotel in the centre of the city. The best time ever!

Everything was perfect , room very comfortable and big , dinner was great , stuff really helpful and nice . Very good value for money .

There were some small issues when entering the room, but the staff fixed them right away ! we got another room, and they offered us drinks, free parking en and use of the minibar for the small inconvienence.

What I really liked is location that is perfect for reaching by walking some of key attractions. Additionally, overall services in the Hotel are just excellent. Staff at the reception were very helpful and service in the restaurant very helpful.
