FranceThe most amazing hotel I have ever seen on any continent. Incredible garden, fab history, lovely, welcoming staff with a special shout-out for Vera, the outstanding sommelière at Arcadas (a meal to die for!). Honestly, QdL deserves a 15 out of 10 - money well spent!

United StatesA true palace stay in a beautiful building fit (and made for) a king. The surrounding gardens are a national treasure. We were there on a cold, rainy February day and still loved our walk around the grounds. Breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had at a hotel. The evening meal at the restaurant was also very good. I can't stress enough the beauty of the building decor. Staff was warm and hospitable despite the stunning palatial setting. Ample parking.Very comfortable bed.
